They say that whenever two or more of us are gathered in his name, there is love – and that love can translate into answered prayers. So, while not all inclusive, these are the things that I’m currently praying for. If you have a moment, your prayers would be appreciated to0.
For the people of our nation suffering loss from recent storms, especially Joplin MO. May they find peace as they start to rebuild their lives.
For our nation to embrace the sanctity of life, and become a nation that does not require laws to legislate what life is, but that gains a moral compass, a true respect for all life, and stops the geneocide of our own people which is abortion.
For all of the families who today, have seriously ill children, whether their illness is physical, emotional, mental – that there is healing and comfort soon.
For our world leaders, that they can learn that we are more alike each other than different, that we all share the same common and basic human needs, that that those needs do not have to be in conflict with each other.
That I am given the gift of wisdom, to clearly discern God’s will for my life, and live my life to it’s fullest potential for him.
That I am given the gift of patience, so that I may listen with the intent to understand, and not just with the intent to respond.
That everyone be given the gift of time to slow down, rest, and listen to what God has planned for them.
For the men and women who are discerning God’s will for the gift of service as a priest, deacon, pastor, nun, lay or other religious. Let their motives be pure and true, and in union with God’s desiree for their lives.
